This time Robur quietly hums a hobbit tavern drinking ditty while throwing a coin into the well rather than himself.

OOC: This feels like an important decision, so I'll wait for a few more players to chime in. So far we have 2 votes (Robur and Bilfur) to stay and investigate the well, and 1 vote (Dame Simonetta) to retreat south to area 7. I'm not asking for a unanimous decision, but it would be nice to at least get a majority vote. We'll pause here until we have 5 votes, one way or the other. You are welcome to plead your case and try to sway the other players' opinions.

Also a friendly aside, there are 3 NPCs in the party (Douglas, Fiona, and Ginger), and if nobody gives them any instructions, I will NPC them according to their known personality traits/quirks. For example I could totally imagine Douglas 'cannonballing' into the well, if you give him too long a leash.

Kiplyn stays put near the entry and watches Robur wander off to the well. "I think this might end badly, but what do I know."

"Douglas, Fiona, and Ginger!" calls Robur. "You better come with me to the fountain where you are safe. No foolishness! Don't do anything without my say so. I will just toss a coin into it and see what happens."

Noh stays behind Kiplyn, which I think puts him at least between Kiplyn and the Dame. I will stay near the stronger of our companions Carc, he whispers to the raven, I do not remember so much splitting up when adventuring before.

Wilbur agrees with Dame Simonetta.

OOC: Okay, tense situation, but that's five votes (a majority) to stay and investigate the well full of silver pieces. You bunch are a brave lot; braver than I would be!! I would have 'noped out' as soon as I saw the screaming dwarf statue, but that's just me.

Robur tosses a silver coin into the well with a loud "splash." He feels slightly more experienced! Not a full experience point, but if he was hovering right at the brink of leveling up, it might put him over the edge.
