Re: The Ninth Adventure

Dame Simonetta would like to burn the spider-strands. Maybe it will drop a bunch of angry spiders directly onto our exit route, and maybe it won't :D!

Assuming nothing like that happens, she would like to explore the south-western tunnel which shows signs of being enlarged/improved.

Noh safely ensconces himself back into the marching order. "Keep those wonderful eyes of yours on the lookout Carc," he says to the Raven, "especially for anything moving up above."

Dougal stands guard while other burn the webs. He's focusing on the northern direction, searching the ceilings if he can see them and watching the other entrances to the room.
Sorry for the absence, folks. Surgery went well. Had extensive damage to my bicep tendon, but there was also some rotator cuff damage, so he repaired that while he was in my shoulder.

Out for about 4 weeks, so I might be on a little more than normal? Don't worry, I won't try to push the action. Well... not too far, anyway.

Good on ya Ethan! As a wise man once said: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

As the spider-strands burn, they go slack and hang like streamers from the tall rock spire. The trailing silk strands look like ribbons around a maypole.

Amazingly, the fire does not attract any wandering monsters. Where to next? We have one vote so far, for south-west.
