Robur has the fancy dagger.

The southeast tunnel dead-ends in a 20' diameter cul-de-sac (area 39)

There is a pool of water in the center of the floor. The pool is 10' wide and 10' deep. At the bottom can be seen the sparkle of many coins. Mostly copper pieces, plus a few silver and gold.

Dame Simonetta feels a calming tingle from her owl medallion, sort of the opposite of how it reacts around undead.

Dougal pauses, considers the other coins in the water, then, completely out of character, flips a gold coin in to see what happens.

He approaches the water cautiously with his new dagger in his right hand (just in case), and puts his tired hobbit feet in. And then he bends over and to scoop water in his left hand to have a drink.
