Goldwen cautiously tugs at the dust cover, encouraging it to slide free, as Thanis assumes an overwatch position...
The dappled linen rustles as it gathers the momentum of its own weight, before hitting the ground with a flap and a great puff of dust.
As the dust clears, a majestic, 10ft figure is revealed; one that Goldwen cannot fail to recognise. Even some of the others know this culturally significant icon: a likeness of the Immaculate Mother Goddess. Her face is cowled and seemingly sad, tilted left, while her arms are outstretched in her classic pose representing all that is good in an otherwise wretched mankind: generosity, forgiveness, kindness, love, and redemption. She is all these things.
After a moment of awestruck reflection, Goldwen notices that She is composed of an unusual, dark grey stone flecked with metallic highlights. Looking closer... She also appears to be damaged. There are a score or more marks about her, mostly from the waist down, as if someone (or something) had struck her with hammer or mace. Perhaps that is why She seems so sad?
Sometimes I feel like I post too much, stepping on others' actions, sometimes too little Such is the way of PbP though. How big is this room/shrine again? Just the two exits, yeah?

I know this feeling. I try mighty hard to see any actions I start through and then hang back when i think it's better of others give orders about things that I have little impact on.
