Burglin' Time
OOC: Your DM likes to roll thief skill checks secretly. So if you don't find a trap, you don't know if it's because you failed your check, or there really is no trap.
Kiplyn melts into the shadows.
Robur tests the floor with his cudgel. He is quite confident the floor is safe, no pit traps, trip wires, etc.
Beppo walks around the chest, viewing it from all sides. He doesn't see any traps, nor anything attaching the chest to the floor. He tries to push the chest and manages to slide it about 1 inch across the floor. He's just not strong enough to tip it over by himself.
The chest is pretty big; about twice the size of a Hobbet. The DM rules that tipping the chest over will require an Open Doors check. Beppo rolls 1d6=1. D'oh!
