10 - Tor-Xonor the Upper Ruins

Refreshed, Rejuvenated and Ready to go! The party spies out the upper ruins from the hidden camp. What terrible forces will they meet?

Alrik, refreshed, packs and prepares to depart. He addresses Faeraidel in Elvish before the group sets out.

"I have been holding onto this, it was your sister's but you may find it useful. I hope you don't mind, I studied it while it was in my posession," Alrik says as he hands the spellbook found on Hagwen to Faeraidel.

"Let us set forth and make our explorations during the light of day and make sure we return to camp before dark if we can."

"Bah! I'm not scared of the dark," grunts an invigorated Urist. "Come on, Squishy, let's clear out these upper ruins."

Rhegaer, restless from inactivity, stands up and stretches.

"Aye, let's get to it."

With glance up towards the ruins you are reminded of the vastness of the old keep.

It's a long slope to climb, and then there is the outer wall and the graveyard in center of the approach. What shall be your path? Which opening are you making for?

"There seems to be an opening in the outer wall just to the right of the cemetary"

As a dwarf, Urist's comfort zone is to get out of the open air and back underground or inside. Therefore, if there is an opening or break in the wall (as Phaidan has observed) then Urist would second the idea.
