And at last Josiane rejoins the party, and she appears unharmed.
"I'm glad you were able to escape whatever evil you were holding back down there." Olaf says with a smile.
She smiles up at Olaf, perhaps holding onto his hand a fraction of a second longer than she has to.
"Thank you."
"And it is certainly not safe to stay here to rest, anyway." Olaf says, "We either press on, or find a spot where it is safe from intrusion from those Were creatures and the Dark priests. Not knowing of such a spot nearby, I guess we press on."verhaden wrote:Torben

"I'm well, thanks ta you. Sorry I've forced you ta make a practice of saving my life but I'm def'nitely grateful, Miss. Me 'n the undead dinnae seem ta get along. I'm gonna need someone ta carry the Marrowstone though, and my flask. Could I trouble ya to tote my things 'till I get another sack?"
Highbough laughs, a dreadful sound. "Perhaps some fresh air will refresh your vigor? Shall we return to the surface and find a safe place for the wounded to rest?"mgtremaine wrote:Wen would laugh at HIghbough as he finsihes the donning of his armor. "Oh indeed the darkness was quiet friendly below, had we stayed long er I'm sure it would have been tea and biscuits. But as we had other things todo Josiane gave our apologies. We had best decide on how to proceed. Dieter and Dorgan and weak as kittens for now, and I fear that I took more then a passing wound from that sword as well." Wen rub his arm again to try to get the blood moving through the bruising."Do we have the strength left to confront these wolf men in their hide-hole?"
