Re: Interest in Wyrmspear playtest?

Welcome back EHiker, Acodispo!

Yes, I've reached out to a few of the old hands... you are some of them :)

Yes, this will likely be a bit patchy, with stops, starts, and perhaps do-overs if an encounter area goes totally pear shaped.
The idea is to test the difficulty/do-ability of some of the areas, and more generally how the whole thing hangs together.

Hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience along the way too!

Re: Interest in Wyrmspear playtest?

Okay... looks like we have four players, which is almost just about enough.

With the PBP format it works to have a few extra players to smooth over real life events and peaky posting rates.
Let's give it a few more days to see if I can find a couple more before we pull the trigger...

Re: Interest in Wyrmspear playtest?

Right O team,

I have reached out to most of my go-to PBP players, but alas most are either busy with other things or haven't come back to me.

So, options from here include:

1. Push on with four players, each playing two PCs. If we went this way I'd create four groups of two PCs, where the PCs in each group play a similar kind of role. So each player would end up running two PCs that are somewhat similar.

2. Each player runs one PC as usual, and I run the other four PCs as NPCs.

3. Hang out a bit longer to see if we can round up a few more players...

What do you think?

Re: Interest in Wyrmspear playtest?

Honestly all the options are fine with me. I want you to get a good play test for your creation. I think waiting another week is no big deal if you have some hope. The logistics of how many PC and NPC is just "whatever", we are all able to handle 2 PC each but if want to have some NPC input we all do secretly love your NPC's.

Awesomeness ness. Ness.

Welcome back Tonneau; looks like we're getting the band back together :D

So now we have six players, we are officially a goer. Woohoo!

I will set up a game forum during the week so we can get started on PC selection shortly.

Hello, recently joined the facebook group and someone told me that this was going to be playtested.
I would like in, if there is room of course. :D
