In 6 days, I mostly get my life back.

The toxic, narcissistic ex girlfriend I've been trying to break up with and get to move out of my condo for about a year now (pre-pandemic) is moving out by the end of this month.

It was easier to divorce my wife after 12 years together.

OOC: Uh oh. Apparently for decades I have been doing wandering monsters all wrong: I check once an hour, but by-the-book it's supposed to be once a turn?!? AD&D I think it was every 3 turns, but I can't find any edition of the rules where it's supposed to be every 6 turns, and the only thing I can come up with is, "that's how our gaming group played when we were kids."

For what it's worth, "White Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game" has wandering monster checks every hour as well.

Thanks for researching that! I have played White Box before, so maybe that's where I got it from.

Note that WB:FMAG is based on (but not identical to) Swords & Wizardry: WhiteBox. I don't believe SW:WB specifies a frequency for wandering monster checks in dungeons at all.
