If the gargoyles are attacking others, Naillus will magic missle one. If one is attacking him, he will meet it with Battle Axe and shield.

FYI, I have these spells for Nailus: Sleep, Detect Magic, Magic Missile, Color Spray, Invisibility, Knock

The gargoyles fly toward Aldbane and Bannon. Franklin decides to aid Bannon, while Nailus casts a magic missile at the one attacking Aldbane. maloof and the hobbits sit this one out. Nailus' spell does a small amount of damage to the gargoyle attacking Aldbane, but Aldbane's mace strike is a bit more effective. He easily parries the gargoyle's attack. The other gargoyle has a solid chunk taken out of it by Franklin, but draws blood from Bannon

If there is room, Naillus will attack physically one of the Gargoyles. He won't use his wands as they will hit the party as well.

Franklin fights on!

Nailus decides to help out Aldbane, and rushes in with his axe, but he is too hasty,and his swing goes wild, but Aldbane methodically bashes pieces off his foe. Bannon and Franklin reduce the other gargoyle to rubble, and the remaining gargoyle again fails to damage Aldbane.

The players surround the last gargoyle, and Nailus deals the decisive blow. All is quiet again

Maloof slips across the room and listens at the north door as soon as the sounds of combat have ended.

He hears nothing, and opens the door to see 20 feet of corridor heading north, then it turns east in the 30' section

Franklin is investigating the stone pedestals to see if the gargoyles were guarding any treasure. He taps the pedestals and listens if they sound hollow.
