Question: Could Maloof theoretically (if he wanted to) ride his Broom of Flying and fire a crossbow while zipping around above a battle? Or does he need to use his hands to control the broom and/or hold on to prevent himself from falling off?

Since the idea sounds fun, let's make it work. I would argue that he would have to be stationary to fire. In other words, fly to where you want, hover, then shoot
