Maloof opens the door. All is smoky and ashes, but no spider carcasses are seen. The bones are now on the floor, they look like goblin bones, but nothing else of interest is revealed

Naillus will suggest to search a bit more that room to see if there are any gems or jewelry, especially amongst the bones.

Is the smoke obscuring our view of the ceiling? If so, we should leave it to air out a bit. If the smoke isn't significantly obstructing our view, Maloof carefully scans the ceiling and walls for any spiders (including around the south door). He then closes the west door and moves to the south door, where he does the same thing (including looking around the west door, which he couldn't properly see earlier). If everything looks clear, he will enter the room to search for loot.
