After everyone is done collecting coins, Maloof will try opening the first door (on the northern side of the passage), whilst remaining invisible.

The room is 20' square, with a door on the west wall 20' section. Thick cobwebs fill the corners of the room, and wisps of webbing hang from the ceiling and waver in a wind you can barely feel. One corner of the ceiling has a particularly large clot of webbing, with what may have some bones in it

Maloof carefully closes the door again without entering.
Maloof has some oil. Does anyone have a torch or other flame source? (I'm not sure if it's worth using a charge from Nailus' Wand of Fire). We could toss it in and leave it a few minutes, if there are spiders and if they are not killed outright at least they can't ambush us by hiding in the webbing. Or we could ignore the room altogether.

Naillus will say, "I would prefer the fire method. I do not wish to fight spiders as we have no real protection from poison. Thoughts?"

Franklin has a tinderbox he can use to ignite Maloof's oil and clear out the cobwebs.

Aldbane has some oil flasks as well, he'll contribute.

OK, Maloof will open the door just enough to toss in some oil and allow Franklin to light it, then close the door again for a few minutes during which time he'll move along the corridor to the western door of the spider room. After waiting, he'll slowly (and invisibly) open the western door and peek through.

You perform the rites of burning in the web room. Maloof notices the west corridor goes 10' to a door. The rest of the party hears the door in the south of the gargoyle room creak open
