Re: The Ninth Adventure

(OOC where are we on the map). Bilfur suggests checking the area that looks over a cliff head south?

OOC: You can be anywhere you want to be on the map, within 12 squares of the number 3.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

Dame Simonetta retains her previous opinion: keep together, stay close to the wall, move counterclockwise, burn webs as we go. If the party wants to investigate the cliff, she could be persuaded to go clockwise instead.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

The party heads clockwise to discover the ledge is actually a ramp, leading up to a raised area at the south of the cavern. There is also a tunnel continuing on to the west.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

Kiplyn nods to the left up the ramp. Doing his best stay quiet and move silently.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

Robur tries to go up the ramp stealthily - clinging to the darkness where possible and being seen as little as possible.

Re: The Ninth Adventure

Dame Simonetta ascends the ramp with her companions, although she is less concerned with stealth and more concerned with being ready for danger!

Re: The Ninth Adventure

There are no spider webs in the immediate area of the ramp. The stone is worn smooth, as if by many generations of feet.

The party reaches the upper plateau without incident. If you could see in the dark, this would be a scenic place to gaze upon the vast cavern to the north.

There are some fat spider-strands here, stretching out like cables, connecting the ledge with the spire to the north. Do you burn them?

There are two exits: A natural cavern-tunnel to the southeast, that goes straight for at least 40-50', and a wider tunnel that zigzags to the southwest. The southwestern corridor looks like it was enlarged and 'improved' in the past, by miners using picks. The tunnel is wide and high enough that humans could stand comfortably.
