GM: Introducing Llewellyn

As you are getting sorted, a mail clad figure with mace and shield comes panting into the room. "I caught up with you. Llewellyn, aspiring adventurer, at your service"

[kipper]

"Appropriate welcomes, etcetera and so forth." Maloof says bluntly. "Find a place in the marching order, perhaps next to me if you want, I'm sure Wodan won't mind and can move forward a step. Now, let us proceed".

"Welcome LLewellyn!"

When we're ready we'll go north to the dwarf temple, then west then north to get to the stairs down to level 3.

"Welcome, Llewellyn!" says Franklin. He is ready for adventure.

You head back to the stairs, then descend warily. The stairs go down 20 feet, then double back and head 20' south into a chamber. The entrance to the stairs is in the middle of the north wall of this 30' square chamber. In the four corners of the room are statues of an eagle, a lion, a winged man and an ox. There is an exit in the middle of the west wall that goes 10 feet to a door. There is an exit in the middle of the east wall that goes 30 feet, then turns north in the 40' section. 20' along the north wall of this passage is a door.

"To the west are powerful undead. I suppose we should try to destroy one, since we have two clerics, holy water, and silvered weapons. Shall we prepare to unleash a barrage of holy water, while the clerics hold off the creature? In any case, everyone should equip their silvered weapons."

Wiglaff grabs his silvered axe from Phillippe & hands the porter his regular axe.

"Three clerics." Maloof corrects, as he readies his cross and silvered mace.

How's this sound for a plan?

Lesser undead we try to destroy by turning & melee.

Wraiths: we should pass the holy water around so that we can throw it all in the 1st round. The clerics won't be able to turn wraiths, but our silvered weapons will do half damage against them, so we might have a chance against 1.

Wiglaff will take off his armour & get ready to cast colour spray -- though who knows whether it will have any effect on wraiths.

With the above prep, go through the west door, and head south. Head east at the side passage if we don't meet anything before then.
