Re: 04 - Ruin in the Moor

Hagwen carefully checks the door over while the others wait quietly.....Nothing seems out of place, the door is obviously in current use judging by the condition. Hagwen tries the handle and finds it to be unlocked.... The door swings open slowing revealing...

A very large room 50x90 although it is difficult to know that in the dim lighting. Several are obvious

1) You are entering from the south west edge, the south wall run 40 feet east from the door.

2) There are 2 more doors in the room. One in the West wall 50 feet north of you. ANother door in the East wall in the far North corner.

3) There is a large humanoid figure standing near each door as if on guard.

Lastly a gruf voice speaks out in pigeon goblin.... "Lacky Swine not sent for be off!"

Alrik glances at Hagwen and the other fighters and decides a parley is probably not the first thing that would spring to their minds in this situation. He grips his dagger hilt nervously, motioning for Rik to stay back.

Coln

Realizes that the goblin head will get in the way when he needs to shoot goblins, so he puts it away and gets out his crossbow.

Re: 04 - Ruin in the Moor

If nobody in the room takes notice of them, otherwise, Rhegaer quickly closes the door.

Then he whispers, "Ready yer ranged weapons. On three, I open the door. Hag and I will fire at the nearest guard then I can switch spots with Coln so he can fire his crossbow. Then we can wait for them to come to us and hold them at the door; I can attack from the second rank with my spear."

He waits to see if anyone disagrees with the plan.

Phadian

"Sounds good. I will put good light on the target when the door is opened. After our volleys I will point the light a bit down and then point it at his eyes when he comes through the doorway so it makes it harder for him to see us clearly."

Re: 04 - Ruin in the Moor

Rhegaer thinking fast reaches out and pulls the door closed, forcing Hagwen to take a quick step back.

Through the door several of you hear a barking laugh and some strange words being spoken between the guards. Rhegaer whispers his plan, Coln puts down the sack carrying the Goblin head and gets himself ready.

ooc: Rik is actually up top guarding the Goblins who are tied up.

Coln

"Well, I like the direct brutality of Rhegaer's plan... hehehe... But if that don't work, we could try and lure them out since Hagwen speaks Gnollish."
