I think we should continue on a bit longer, maybe check out the door in the southern passage. We haven't got much treasure yet and I think we're still OK on most resources (HP, Spells). Is anyone low on HP? Maloof still has his healing spell.

If the main reason to return would be to drop off inactive characters and Catweazle, I'm OK with that too.

Wiglaff, having cast his spell, will take some time to put on his plate armour.

You open the door onto a 20' deep room, 30 ' tall, with the door in the middle of the west wall. The walls of this room are covered with different coloured marble eyes.

Maloof picks up a chip of stone or small rock if one is available (or uses copper coin if not) and tosses it into the room. Do any of the eyes move to follow it?
