Grampus will redouble his efforts to open the door. "Come on lads. Now that they know we're here it should be a little more fair for thepoor bastards on the other side."

Catweazle encourages his muscle to join the effort. "Sigurd! Ivar! Lend an arm, and a leg, and a back! Push! Prod! Press!"

Re: Delve the Third

You bash open the door into a large room, 30 feet north-south (centered on the door) and 40 feet long, There is a door opposite you on the east wall, and on the north wall, 20 feet from the west edge. There is a bed in the north-east corner, and along the south wall, a desk and chair and lit candlelabrum, as well as a small book case. Leaning back negligently in the chair is a tall man in blood-red robes. He rises to his feet as you burst in and says "Well met, adventurers. You are just what I am looking for". You notice he has a wand in his sash, available for a quick draw if necessary

Re: Delve the Third

Golguldir steps sideways to ensure he is not within line of sight thru the door way.
We already had the chaotic fighter, and the anti-cleric, so this must be a sorcerer of ill-repute I'm sure!

Re: Delve the Third

Rhod takes a step to the left of the door, so the rest can come in (if they choose).

"What did you have in mind?" he asks.

Has there ever been a sorcerer of good repute?

Re: Delve the Third

Sigurd and Ivar smartly step aside, one to each side of the doorway. Catweazle, undecided, hops from leg to leg until finally settling on cowering behind Sigurd.

"Tche! Ech! Looking? Looking? Why and what for, eh? Seek you the secret of flight, also?"

"My name is Pres, also known as Pres the Imposing. I am doing research on potions, and am always looking for rare ingredients like monster horns, weird molds and plants, and so on. I would be willing to pay for these items if you were to retrieve them. I am sure that there are many dangerous sources around to harvest from"

Re: Delve the Third

Aldbane's ears perk up at the mention of pay. He moves forward "Sir Imposing, do you have some idea of where we might find such items and how much they would be worth to you? Is there one such item you value above all others?" he says.

"I will come clean with you. I owe the wizard six potions that have never been created before, so I am gathering books, scrolls, and ingredients, and endeavouring to conjure up new creations. A troll's testicle, a dragon's heart, the tongue of a lizard, a manticore's ear, magic water, soluble slime, semi-precious gems - all would be useful."
