"The mule, sounds like a good plan," agrees Urist. He sighs wistfully as he says goodbye to the treasure (for the moment).

"Agreed, I pay Rik for his muscle, in part, so let us fetch him," Alrik says.

"Aww, don't worry, we'll help you look for your friend. But patience, there is a certain rhythm to these things. The dwarves say, build each day like a house: a good night's sleep is the foundation, and a hot breakfast is like fire in the hearth."

"I don't recall saying he was my friend," mutters Faeraidel grimly, gazing into the middle distance; "But I owe it to my sister."

She pauses a moment, considering.

"But there's wisdom in your words, friend Urist. Very well. We quit this place for now. When we return let us be suitably equipped for the task."

She sets about shovelling the gold into her backpack.

"The mule would be of aid here," she concurs.

"Aye! If we are to fetch the Rik, Shoul, and Mule lets do it quick. Stay alert there are still some enemies about."

When the others are ready, Rhegaer heats his sacks and moves to the exit, reversing the way they came in this last time.

With one last look at the treasure left behind the party heads out, slowly, cautiously heading back to camp. Do they make it??

mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6]

They do! Back down the stone halls, through the storage area, up the ancient staircase and through the ruins of the great halls. The party emerges back into the outside world carrying sacks of gold back to the hidden camp.

Squishy wags his tail in joy to breathe the fresh air. Urist speaks: "Well, friends, we did it! We killed the dragon, filled our packs, and made it out of the dungeon alive. If any of you want to get far, far away from this place as quickly as possible, I won't hold it against you. But you know Dwarves: gold gold gold. Let's grab the mule and head back down there before the Ogres figure out what's what!"

Alrik attempts to convince Rik to go back in and help carry some of the treasure.

"Rik, my friend, a 100 gold coin bonus this month if you come with us and the mule and lend your strength to this operation!"

100gp is enough to sway Rik, your porter is ready! Shoul and Mule are also ready! Is there anything you want to do first or do you head back as quickly as possible.
