Therein is a cool infirmary. Or is it a torture chamber? What once probably once white and sterile has been requisitioned for a more... perverse function. The walls are shelved with specimen bottles and phials, and a litany of medical samples. However, the central part of the chamber is dominated by an examination slab, upon which is a person. Or rather, a body in a very unfortunate state...

Ulric carefully shines his lantern around the room looking for any signs of anything lurking in the shadows. He then does the same looking for any other doors or open passages leading out of the chamber.

"There may be some items of use in there," Ulric says, "and we may learn more about these demons if we can determine what they were trying to learn from that cadaver."

While he is anxious to inspect the room, Ulric waits for those with weapons and armor to enter before he does.
