Hearing Illmir's death cry I pick up the lantern and run around the corner. Seeing the 4 zombies that still remain I raise my staff and point the light of the lantern directly at them. I yell at the zombies "Behold Torgrin's light!! Return to the pit that spawned you and trouble not the agents of law again!!"

Actions:
Rhegaer and Hagwen continue to battle the 4 remaining Zombies
Alrik calls out to Phadian and heads towards the lab
Phadian moves out of the lab and attemps to Turn the Undead

Zombies continue attacking. Again 3 can reach the Warriors. The third will at 1-3 Rhegaer 4-6 Hagwen. The fourth will 1-3 move to attack Alrik/Phadian next round or 4-6 continue the Zombie press against Rhegaer and Hagwen

Results:
Rhegaer attacks
mgt's roll comes to 6 [6 on 1d20] - MISS

Hagwen attacks
mgt's roll comes to 19 [19 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 3 [3 on 1d6] - Hagwen finally drops the wounded Zombie

Zombie attack
mgt's roll comes to 2 [2 on 1d6] - The other attacks Rhegaer this round

mgt's roll comes to 37 [12 14 11 on 3d20] - MISS,MISS,MISS whew

Last Zombie..
mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6] - can only think of killing Rhegaer or Hagwen

Phadian comes into view with his Lantern held high....
mgt's roll comes to 4 [1 3 on 2d6] .... The Zombies do not turn so easily, their bloodlust is upon then... mm brains..

Status:
Hagwen and Rhegaer face 3 Zombies still how long will their luck hold?
Phadian is within range to join melee if he wants to
Alrik is in the lab probably realizing he just killed a 5th Level Wizard...

Alrik, hearing Hagwen's yell and realizing they are in trouble, stabs at a zombie from behind.
Aldbane the Cleric (Level 5 MV 6" AC 2/3 HD 4 HP 18) plate +1, shield+2, helm, silvered war hammer, sling, staff of healing

Phadian sets down his lantern and joins the melee

Zombies continue attacking. Again 3 can reach the Warriors. The third will at 1-3 Rhegaer 4-6 Hagwen.

mgt's roll comes to 10 [10 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 6 [5 on 1d6 +1] - Chops another Zombie up

Hagwen attacks
mgt's roll comes to 11 [11 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 4 [3 on 1d6+1] - Hagwen lops an arm of a Zombie but it somehow keeps coming

Zombie attack
mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d6 -Rhegaer this round

mgt's roll comes to 24 [16 7 1 on 3d20] - HIT,MISS,MISS except the first one was already dead.

Phadian wades in with his staff
mgt's roll comes to 17 [17 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 4 [4 on 1d6] - Phadian smashes the 1 armed Zombie to the ground where it finally expires.

Alrik jumps the last zombie from behind.
mgt's roll comes to 13 [13 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 6 [6 on 1d6] - Killed

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer lets out a sigh of relief as the last zombie falls. Then moves into the other room to make sure the wizard is dead.

When he finds the wizard with the dagger in his chest, he nods in appreciation and looks around, "How'd he get here with the zombies I wonder..."

If possible, he will see if Phadian can do anything for his wounds (binding, at the least?)

"An' you snuffed the Wizard?" she says to Alrik with an appreciative (if ugly) grin; "Now ain't that sumthin'? Nice one, Mage-boy!"

A sudden look of alarm clouds her face.

"Aurora!"

"An' Coln, o' course," she adds hurriedly, rumbling off in the direction of their still-ensorcelled comrade and his faithful hound...
