Sorry about that Coffee -- it looks fine for me, so I didn't really think too much about how it might appear to others.coffee wrote:Is it just my monitor, or are other people having trouble reading what "Albert" has to say, given his rosy-hued speech?
Can this be done faster if both Flewellen and Ulric work together?waysoftheearth wrote:The latter will take a number of days (minimum of 4, but 50% likely to take longer, depending upon a few die rolls) and require 2d6 gold crowns worth of experimental materials per day (1gp = 6sp).
Yeah...IC, Olaf will be tempted to take that 100 weight of gold, but also suspicious than the scepter is something *really* special. It's religious, so I think it needs to be examined by religious types before we even consider selling it.danhem wrote:This may cross the line of player/character knowledge, but we should discuss what we plan to do with the items we are having appraised.
Clearly the white gold ring and scepter are special items and we should not sell them until we have some way of determining their true properties.
I'd agree with that.We should offer to sell some of the other items or gems to the merchants to make it worth their time. It would be nice to have a dependable fence or two on hand.
I am considering selling the silver cup and onyx idol for 70 silver.
The plain gold ring and belt now have a value (and are therefore worth xp) but can be worn easily and may have some other value.
As far as the jeweler goes, perhaps we should sell some of the small gems but keep the rest of the items for now.
Of course it our GM decides such discussions must take plain in character, then disregard all of this. ;D
Not at all, this is exactly the kind of OOC discussion was hoping would happen danhem wrote: Of course it our GM decides such discussions must take plain in character, then disregard all of this. ;D
