"Oh No Noooooo!" whispers Wilbert quietly bitting his lips. He drop the coins graps his dagger and torch. He stands the torch in a gap/crack and backs up to a wall keeping to the shadows, drawing his short sword in the other hand. Looking for the source of the voice.waysoftheearth wrote:The Third Vault
Pelenwin (presently on but 1 hit point) and Wibert both fall to their knees before separate coffers of coin and start emptying the content into their treasure gatherer's sacks excitedly.
Wibert is still imagining all the exquisite sweets and pastries he will be able to afford when there comes a sudden, loud grinding of stone. Both of them look up just in time to see a great stone door drop into place, sealing them in with a resounding thud. They are trapped!
"Whooooo ailsssss mhhyyyy peeeacessss?" comes a terrible whisper like cold ashes crumbling into a forlorn autumn breeze.
The pair of them are afraid.

"Out of... breath!" gasps Josiane, wiping the stinging sweat from her eyes. "The blessing.... can only be maintained so long without respite. A moment... and I shall attempt to re-kindle it."sulldawga wrote:Dorgan shares Gustave's enthusiasm for the fight, having dealt a comparable blow to his own adversary, and takes one step to follow the fighter down the stairs...
Then he hears Josiane's voice falter.
Turning back immediately (and saving himself an unexpected shave from Gustave in the process), the dwarf rushes to Josiane's side.
"What is it, Miss? Why'd ya stop singing?"
