Anwyn's gloves are of Pixie make. They won't interfere with Padrig's matras, nor will with assist with his accuracy in missiles.

Those who shared in Anwyn's inane chatter over the past several weeks understood that she believed clicking her fingers (while wearing the gloves) would invoke a random Pixie magic, and consume one finger of the glove.

No, I'm using my own house rules.

By way of further explanation...

My house rules have been a work in progress for quite a few years -- I'm reasonably sure (without any checking) that the original iterations predate the early public versions of S&W. Of course the current version is very different to those early versions, and integrates good ideas from various sources. The main S&W feature I use is the single saving throw.

I have a fully illustrated digest sized booklet almost ready to go. In fact, it has been "almost ready to go" for a number of months. I just need to find that final gasp of motivation/time/energy required to push out a public version.
