The cart appears more or less as secure as it can be in these parts exactly where it is. Besides which moving it will be a strenuous effort. So it is deemed a reasonable course to leave it exactly where it is.

Meanwhile Wibert has trundled off and not yet returned...

C = Campsite

The gatehouse is some 200 yards off, as the crow flies, in a more north-westerly direction than Boris had indicated. It lies beyond three ridges and their respective gullies, but shouldn't take more than a half hour to reach...
