Bannon steps aside to allow the spell casters to do their thing, Aldbane stays out of the doorway as well.
Aldbane the Cleric (Level 6 MV 6" AC 2/3 HD 5 HP 18) plate +1, shield+2, mace +1, helm, sling, staff of healing

Nailus will wait until the effects of the color spray can be determined and then follow up with a Magic Missle.

A bright flash of many colours lights the room, and two of the three monstrosities keel over, stunned or sleeping.

I know that Nailus will Magic ,missile the remaining one, what about the other party members?

Nailus' Sleep spell knocks out the last cockatrice.

Kill then while they are all stunned/asleep?

Yes, kill them immediately (being careful to only touch them with our weapons!).

Then while we're here we may as well search for secret doors, and for secret compartments in the statue as well. Hopefully the statue won't summon more while we're hanging around!
