This level looks fairly dangerous, I don't think we should stray too far from the elevator in case we need to hastily retreat. I don't think we want to take on the ogres just yet (nor a Balrog!).
I think I'd prefer to head south and see if we can find the "enchanters" and find out if they know anything more about the Ozminster/Thoth feud.
That sounds like a good plan. Franklin was starting to get the feeling of being a pawn caught in the middle of the wizards' feud. Maybe the enchanters know some way to flip the script.
