He peeks around the corner. At the end of the 10' of corridor, it opens up into a larger room, but his attention is drawn to a 4'-long scaly lizard, white-coloured and radiating the source of the chill he was feeling

"There's at least one scaly white lizard creature in the room - not a dragon but smaller, and it is emanating cold," Aldbane tells the others, keeping an eye on the corridor for now, in case it charges.
