Inside the roughly 1'x1'x2' box is a smaller cardboard box, and a bit of paper stuffing

Aldbane opens the smaller box.

"Well, this is empty," Aldbane says. "Do we want to examine more boxes, or move on?"

"Let us depart this place and head north," opines Wiglaff, who plainly finds the boxes inexplicably disturbing.

[Makofan]

What about the crossbow bolts?

Maloof tries to avoid stepping on the bolts.

Wiglaff stops short when he turns around and sees the crossbow bolts again.

"Maybe the bolts go in the boxes?" he mutters.

He will take one bolt from the pile, holding it gingerly, and if it doesn't do anything unusual when he picks it up, he stows it away for later inspection.

Then, following Maloof's example and skirting the pile of bolts as best we can, let's go north.

50 feet north of this door is another door on teh west wall. The corridor continues north past it
