How does Charisma factor into it?waysoftheearth wrote:Now that I've "got the hang of it" I think race, class and charisma are all equally important factors in determining what is an appropriate boon. It helps too if the player gives you some hint about the PC background they want
The way I figure it, charisma is equal parts personality, comeliness and social status. Charisma can therefore play a part in whether a boon is a gift, or was stolen, for instance. And it can also help determine what kind of item a boon should be as high charisma PCs are more likely to have social niceties, whereas low charisma PCs are more likely to get practical tools.sulldawga wrote:How does Charisma factor into it?

Man, you put a lot more thought into it than I had realized. Thanks again for sharing it with me.waysoftheearth wrote:The way I figure it, charisma is equal parts personality, comeliness and social status. Sorry guys. I should be back in about a week or two, assuming everything goes well.
