The door is well and truly broken up, but is in no state to be "opened". It is still afixed to the door frame at its hinges and at the lock. To pass through you will need to wrestle a couple of timbers out of the wreckage and slip through the resulting gap.
There appear to be the figures "IV" graven into the stone above the now-broken door, though these are so filled with moss and grit they could easily be missed.
Nothing is happening in the lit room beyond.
To clarify, it is an 80ft long chamber. The broken door is at one end. The great round armoured door that hangs ajar is at the other end. The sacks are in front of the great round armoured door, just in side the long chamber.
