Mmm, you might be able to get some additional information out of Chrome's built in developer console.
First thing I would do would be to clear the browser's local cache (to ensure it has to request the page from the server). In the top right corner of Chrome, click the three vertical dots button. Then select More Tools --> Clear Browsing Data... You should get a pop up with a bunch of options letting you control what to clear. Make sure you get rid of any cached immersive ink forum pages.
When it's all cleaned up, click the three vertical dots button again. Then select More Tools --> Developer Tools. It should split the screen so that you see the normal page content in the top/left portion of the window, and a console in the bottom/right portion of the window. At the top of the console you should see a bunch of tabs (Elements, Console, Sources, network, Performance, Memory, etc.). Select the Network tab.
Now you're in a position to observe the browser's view of network traffic when you visit the ii forum.
Put in the forum URL
http://forum.immersiveink.com/ and hit enter.
You should see a whole bunch of info in the network console, one line for each resource that the browser pulls down from the server. When I do it, I'm seeing 48 files downloaded including: 1 document, 5 scripts, 3 style sheets, and a bunch of tiny gifs. It shows how big each file is, and an HTTP status of 200 (which means OK) for each of the 48 resources.
What do you see when you do this?
