Thanis: Stealthy
Garamon: Hardy
Stern: Strong
Flin: Strong
Wraislin: Intellectual
Tass Purrfoot: Agile
Goldwen: Sagacious
Witherun: ??

Thanks Ehiker.

Looks like I missed a couple of details in my rush to get it moving...

Primarily, Thanis didn't benefit much for being "sneaky". I recalled it as a "high dex" word (which I assumed would adjust missile fire) but plausibly--if Sully wants to run Thanis more as a ranger-type rather than a regular fighter-- sneaky sounds like it should affect the surprise roll instead. What was your intent for Thanis Sully; more ranger-sneaky or more shooty?

Also, I mistakenly ran Garamon as Strong rather than Hardy in that last combat (a hangover from DL#1 Caramon have 18/63 strength). Correcting that, Garamon will have 4 additional hp going forward, but will not benefit from high strength.

Re: Out Of Character

I would rather him be ranger-sneaky. He'll depend on the magic of his bow to give his arrows a little extra oomph.

Thanks Sully, it shall be so.

Re: Out Of Character

I figured already having a strong in the party was good? These are an interesting rule concept though!

The lazy ref's ability scores? Yep, they rock :D
Particularly in the PBP format, an ultra succinct stat block that covers everything saves the ref loads of time continually looking stuff up.

Re: Out Of Character

Speaking of stat blocks; Ehiker, Sully and Rredmond, could you pls update your sig to conditionally show your Wyrmspear stat blocks only in this forum?

edit: Actually, can everyone who hasn't already do so please update their sig per above? AND pls add your key word first, like this:

Garamon [Hardy Hero, MV 9′′, AC 4, HD 4, hp 20, FC 4 men/hero, SV F4, L]

(Rredmond, note that Garamon now has 20 hp, rather than 16).

See here: viewtopic.php?t=699 how to do it, or else ask for help right here in this topic :)

Re: Out Of Character

Crapola! I thought I already did!! Must’ve missed a bracket or something. I’ll check in a bit.

ETA: ohhhhhhh “update” my sig, not add it. Ugh, I’m the king of not fully reading things lately. Will do on the update!

I can't find a posting from Acodispo indicating his character's primary trait. Acodispo, can you please indicate Witherun's main trait?
Let's do agile.

Re: Out Of Character

Mgtremaine; I was thinking about Tass' power word "agile" (or perhaps over thinking it---who me?). Anyways, it occurs to me that theives are already sneaky, and Hobbets are already sneaky in woods, and deadly accurate with missiles. So... adding "agile" on top of all that might be overkill.

The DL#1 Tasslehoff PC is notable for having the most believable set of ability scores. Sure, he has 16 dex and 14 con, but his other scores are 9, 11, 12, 13. Lowest in the whole crew. He has a 9 int, and (strangely enough) 11 cha. I 've always had him as above average cha in my head, but maybe that's just my distant memory. Possibly he's foolish or chatty or something? Anyways, just chewing the fat. What do you think?
