The room itself yields no secrets except that the stretched man's bedding was laid over top of a lot of silver pieces!

Re: Delve the Fifth

Wiglaff counts the silver carefully as he puts it into a sack for Edgar to carry.

Re: Delve the Fifth

There is a lot more than you expected - 1200 silver pieces! At 20 coins to a pound, that is 60 pounds. Large sacks can hold 600 coins/30 pounds, and small sacks 200 coins/10 pounds

Re: Delve the Fifth

Edgar has two large sacks. He'll fill both, but he can only carry one (he has a lantern in his other hand).

Do we need to return to the surface & get rid of some coin? We are also carrying 750 gp from the Hole in the World loot.

Aldbane's eyes go wide at the sheer amount of coin. "Well this is a turn for the better, and a good portent of things to come," he says. He'll help carry the loot if needed. "We still have plenty of men as yet unburdened by treasure, I say we press on."

Re: Delve the Fifth

You have about 100 pounds of coins, and 11 people to share them among. You should be okay for a while

Once all coin is stowed & the party is in formation, Wiglaff suggests they press on to the west, and try the door at the end of the corridor.

Re: Delve the Fifth

Vesh and his hirelings have large sacks in case they are needed. Otherwise they return to their place in the marching order so we can continue onward.
