The club does not come out, but does shift an inch or so. A door opens in the south wall, showing a corridor that leads 20 feet south, then turns west in the 30 foot section

The south wall, but not the southwest section? Where Rhod is? Just to clarify.

Maloof will next inspect the pelt in more detail and (if nothing unusual is discovered) he will roll it up and tie it to his pack

Cool, just wanted to be sure.

Rhod will gesture for light to be brought over, then he'll go into the passage.

The passage goes 10 feet west and ends in a blank wall

"That blank wall must be a secret door too," thinks Grampus. He examined the wall for cracks, loose stones, levers, etc.

This one was obvious, the light showing the regular door outline easily. It looks like there is a latch in one of the cracks

Aldbane follows into the passage, keeping an eye to the rear.
