Bilfur pulls out his dagger and cuts through the silk strands, revealing the white, shaggy face of a giant cave sloth!

The sloth has spider bites all over its body and is comatose from the strong venom. It has strong claws for digging; maybe it is responsible for the tunnels to the north?

A 5th level Druid (or any Druid, with the right scroll) could save the sloth with the Neutralize Poison spell.

Dame Simonetta keeps vigilant watch, although her attention is split between the (sloth?) tunnels to the north and the (spider) tunnel to the west.

"Stopping the poison is definitely beyond my powers," Noh says sadly.
Is it a death poison, or one that wears off in time? No herbs will help?

Bilfur looks to try to save the sloth, maybe using first aid. If this does not work but the creature is not dying he asks, " hey can we all carry this thing and leave the dungeon and go see the human druid. Maybe he can help. If we save this creature maybe he becomes our friend."

1. The best first aid would be a Neutralize Poison spell.
2. The giant sloth is much too big to carry (at least 10x larger than a Hobbet).
3. Animal Friendship has a limit of 2HD per Druid level. You estimate the sloth has at least 6HD. So it is too powerful for a 1st or 2nd level Druid to befriend.

We don’t have access to Neutralize Poison though, correct?
