Thinking better of touching the strange green gem, Aldbane moves west with the others, opening the door.

Maloof gives the thumbs-up in silent agreement with Aldbane's plan. (Since the room is Silenced, there is not much point in listening at any of the other doors first.)

After checking the north door for sounds and obvious traps, you open it onto a 30' square room with no visible exits. The room reminds you of a desert during a high sun. The walls are a faded yellow, and the floor has a sand-like pattern. The ceiling is a bright white.

Maloof stoops down to feel the floor. Is there actual sand, or is it just a pattern? Is the floor warm? Any signs of fire?

Anyone up for searching for secret doors, at the risk of being roasted?

Franklin doesn't want to get roasted! Maybe come back later, when we have a fire-resistance magic item? (He is being uncharacteristically cautious lately.)

Any other input?

Rhod agrees with Franklin about finding some fire resistance before we tackle this room. (Especially as he wears metal armor...)
