Aldbane goes into the room and listens at the door on the south wall.

Nothing is heard

Aldbane goes to meet Franklin at the tapestry. "Shall we take a look?" he says, and circles the Atlas statue, looking for anything out of the ordinary. If nothing is found he votes for going through the south door.

Maloof decides to keep watch in the corridor for now, while the others investigate the room and the other door. He tries to keep hidden in the entry alcove.

As Aldbane steps into the room, Atlas shrugs and the huge gold ball comes spinning towards Aldbane and Franklin

"Look out!" Aldbane yells. He runs towards Franklin and grabs the Halfling by the collar, attempting to pull him out of the way.

Franklin grabs Aldbane's hand and helps him dive out of the gold ball's path.

Just in time, the two adventurers scramble aside as the weighty gold globe crashes into the tapestry, ripping it down, then crashing to a stop in the other room

Aldbane looks a bit sheepish, thinking the Halfling needed help. "Well, that was exciting. Let's see what is so important about this statue that it needs protecting."

He'll keep with his original plan to examine the statue, then suggest going south if nothing is found.

You cant find anything unusual about the marble statue

Meanwhile Franklin is inspecting the golden globe. Is it actually made out of gold-gold, as in, incredibly valuable?
