DM: coffee hasn't stopped by in about 6 weeks, but I assume Rhod will want to attack
I stop by pretty much every week day, but if I don't have anything to say I don't say it.
Cool, good to know (sometimes people just disappear without notice)

Aldbane agrees with exploring south east.

Wiglaff pokes his head out of the bedroom.
"Well, we're all done in here, best move on -- wait, what's all that holy-water steam? Did something happen?"
After getting up to date, Wiglaff pops back into the bedroom to
open the north door -- just to make sure it leads where it should logically lead.
Then he's ready to continue onward, and suggests they
try to the south-east.
Yes, the north door leads into the big north room

The passage goes 20 feet east, then turns north in the 30 ' section. You proceed and look north, and see the corridor end in 20' at a door, but there is a corridor leading east at the 10' mark

Maloof is concerned this passage seems to be leading us further from Tim (and a possible reward), however maybe we are getting close to the other wizards' treasure room?
He decides to creep forward and quietly listen at the door ahead, glancing down the eastern passage as he crosses.

Maloof sees a corridor that goes 40 feet, then turns north in the 50 foot section. He hears nothing at the north door

Wiglaff posts his archers at the intersection, ready to shoot down the long corridor. He joins Maloof at the north door, and prepares to open once the party is assembled.
He explains his motivations: "If we find and claim those wizards' treasure, we have no need to deal with Tim again except on our own terms!"

The door opens onto a 40' square room, 10' going west of the door, 20' going east. On the east wall are doors 20' and 40' up. All four walls are lined with floor-ceiling bookshelves, all empty

Franklin takes a good listen at each of the doors (starting with the east wall 20' door).

"What happened, are we too late?" Maloof asks rhetorically. He moves to the north wall and looks for any secret doors hidden behind the bookcases.
