Aldbane stays back, ready if the lizards advance into melee.

Some of the missiles bounce off teh lizards' thick hides, but Rhod and Franklin manage to kill one beast. The other is now aware, and starts to move towards the party

The party can risk winning initiative and getting off more missiles, but then Rhod and one of the hobbits will get meleed if the lizard survives. If they lose initiative, they will not get any missile fire off. Or you could have Rhod and Aldbane charge the last lizard
MECHANICS
Rhod, bow, rolls 16 - hits for 5 damage
Franklin, sling, rolls 8 - hits for 4 damage, kiling a lizard
Balbo, bow rolls 5 - miss
Drogo, bow, rolls 7 - miss
Maloof, dagger, rolls 8 - miss

Once Aldbane sees the lizard moving towards the party, he'll charge in to attack.

Franklin is the 'stopper' to keep the lizard from getting past Rhod and Aldbane.

Rhod and Aldbane meet the lizard side by side, and Rhod gives it a nasty wound. Rhod's great armor protects him from the return bite. After suffering a second wound from Rhod's sword, the lizard is finally put out of its misery by Aldbane's hammer crushing its spine

Aldbane rolls 8, misses
Lizard @Rhod, rolls 14, miss

Initiative - Party 3 Lizard 1
Rhod rolls 14, hits for 3 damage

Lizard @Rhod, rolls 12, miss

Initiative - Party 4 Lizard 1
Rhod rolls 8, miss
Aldbane rolls 16, hits for 3 damage, killing it

Aldbane will search the bodies and possessions scattered about the room.

This seems to be the only exit.
