Franklin will fight with Maloof! He draws his magic sword and tells his dog to 'stay back.'

Wiglaff orders Ivar & Sigmund to follow Maloof and Franklin into the fray. Then he puts on his best Awe-Full Elf voice and addresses the kobolds:
"Lizard-lings, the choice is yours: fight us and be destroyed! Serve us ... and be rewarded!"

Aldbane readies his hammer and will move into melee if needed, but is waiting to see the Kobolds' reaction.

Wiglaff's voice only incites the kobolds. "An elf! Kills it!". They charge in a huge, spread-out line. The party has not managed to fully deploy, but the dwarf henchmen cluster to protect the non-combatants. Grampus shoots one in the throat, dropping it instantly, and then the wave slams home. Rhod and Ivar take minor wounds. Franklin and Rhod each kill two kobolds, and Maloof and Sigmund account for one apiece.
There are five kobolds remaining.
