The company quickly retraces their steps without incident. They spend 100 gold on identifying that the axe is a Battle Axe +1 of Beheading. The pendants are worth a whopping 4000 gold each

Grampus ponders, "Wiglaff, since you've got two battle axes I wouldn't mind taking Dramborleg and give my magic sword to a deserving hobbit if that suits. A magic battle axe would feel better to me than the magic sword."
