Important Rules Change
I've decided to roll back the number of attacks/round from Delving Deeper v5 to Delving Deeper v4 rules.
In Chainmail terms, this means a 4th level fighter now makes 1 attack as a Hero, instead of 4 attacks as an ordinary Man.
The exception is the Fighter class ability, to make "sweep attacks" against multiple 1HD foes. Fighters will still get to do that.
This rule change will affect PCs and NPCs/monsters equally, which I hope will balance things out.
The reason for this rule change, is to streamline combat and reduce the number of dice I need to roll. Nine PCs, all making multiple attacks, is a lot to keep track of.
A related change, is that I'm doing away with the 3:2 rate of fire with Hobbets and slings. We are cutting back to standard 1:1 rate of fire, but to compensate, I will give Hobbets +3 to hit with missile weapons.
