Happy New Year, Hobbet Heroes!
How is everybody feeling? Things are well enough here in the foothills of the Upper Miskatonic Valley. Staying sane and healthy as I can. I sure am looking forward to tearing that last page off the 2020 calendar in a few hours.
A rules change for your consideration, in the spirit of increasing the party's combat ability (so I can throw more interesting challenges at you): Shall we get rid of our house rule about armored PCs stripping down to leather, when moving through tunnels? My rationale: The bulkiness of heavy armor is already reflected in the rules by its encumbrance. My house rules were double-penalizing heavy armor users and discouraging a popular character archetype. For verisimilitude, let's just assume that armored characters rearrange their armor as necessary, and that this is subsumed in the encumbrance penalty to movement rate.
Would any of the party fighters have interest in switching to chain or plate, to take on more of a 'tank' role?
