Interesting that in 216 rolls, I rolled only one 18, which is exactly what should happen, but shows how rare 18's are and how inflated they became in later years

Wanted to let you all know I will be traveling from Thursday evening to Monday evening and won't likely be posting at all in between.

I am not expecting the game to start before then. People haven't finished rolling their characters. I would love to get started on Tuesday though

I can see the wisdom in having an official caller to get things moving; someone to summarize the group's posting and basically say, "OK let's go"

i am fine with this. My posting is somewhat sporadic, usually once per day, so having a caller would be a good idea.

From the DM side, it's not as much about frequency of posts, it is the difficulty of getting a group decision so the action can advance
