"She did not lead us hear, our quest is capture or slay Holgar and return him to show the authorities of our town. Hagwen had an uncharismatic appearance but when she died she took on the appearance of a fair elf maiden. We do not know the ways of your people, but we gave her a burial and I said some words to help her passing to the beyond. I for one would welcome your help to find this Holgar."

Faeraidel

The elf maiden freezes as if turned to stone. All colour drains from her face and her blue eyes widen in shock. There is a pause as her brain races, striving to link the threads of the previous conversation together.

"She... took on elven form in... death?" says she, her voice a hollow, fearful whisper; "Describe her to me, I pray you."

"In death she looked a lot like you, missy, though fair-haired and with eyes like emeralds," recollects the dwarf Urist. "Isn't that weird?"

Faeraidel

"No. Oh, no..."

Faeraidel's blue eyes close. Slowly, silently, tears begin to stream down her cheeks.

At length, a soft whisper escapes her lips.

"A glamour; that is how she evaded us. But to maintain the illusion for so long undetected? That is magic beyond her casting, or that of any of the Order, save the highest..."

Another pause, then her eyes snap open, the blue light burning in them flickering dangerously.

"Didolia: I see her handiwork in this. No doubt the story pleased her. She would have found it amusing. Oh, Euraidel, you fool; you dear, sweet, beloved fool. This is the ending I feared, though I sought to prevent it. Torgrim's name, why did you not talk to me? I would have helped you! I would have..."

She trails off, head bowed, her tears flowing freely...

Pondering what she just said a sudden insight seems to arrive "Was Euraidel your sister? I will help you avenge her loss if it is within my power to do so."

Urist doesn't know the proper words of condolence, so he just kicks at a rock with his boot and lets his dog do the comforting.

After an interval, he speaks up: "Maybe killing some bad guys with us would make you feel better??"

Rhegaer looks confused and whispers,"Dint we already kill the ogre that kilt him... Or her?"

"That ogre is just part of the evil in this place, I want us to take down their leader."

Love the dialog and role playing... Let me know if any information is lacking that as the DM I can remind you of.

Faeraidel

There is a long pause as Faeraidel buries her head in Squishy's fur, one hand gently stroking the back of Aurora's neck as both dogs stay close in silent sympathy.

Eventually she raises her head, her blue eyes red with tears.

"I would see my sister's grave, please," she says in a hollow, broken voice...
