Armando darts across to the rear window, and slips outside without incident. He finds himself on a narrow "ledge" of earth between the abbey's outside wall, and the smoldering tar mount that surrounds it.

His allies are nowhere in sight, but it is clear that the only way they could have proceeded is to circle about the abbey, and round the nearby left-hand bend...

Ulric will move back toward the bridge and cross it to get to the main door. He will avoid walking directly in front of the door as much as possible.

He will follow along behind the group of Ulric, Torban, Olaf, Guntram and keep a rear guard for any trouble. Stopping regularly to get a good listen and look around in this dangerous place.
