"Unless you have any other ideas... I'm sure a little oil is worth the 100 gold we each get on completing this mission. I'm happy to get your share if your scared and want to leave..." finishes Rufus.

"Oh, very well then!" complains Dugel, and shuffles around to pull an oil flask from his pack and toss it to Rufus. "That there is no lantern fuel. It's firewater. It goes up good and quick, so don't burn yourself."

I'm sure a little oil is worth the 100 gold we each get on completing this mission.

Rufus will use his 1 oil he carries as well.

"Now stand guard as we spread this oil and firewater on the webs as we retreat back", says Rufus hoping beyond hoping the spiders will die and not him this day.

When this is done he lights the oils with a torch and stands back ready with weapons ready with the others for what may try to escape.

Does Rufus intend on setting the oil fire ahead of the company, or behind it?

The company walked down to S. Then discovered they were in webs, Rufus must have been blind not to notice them everywhere ahead.

Then the company will retreat back to * the plan is to spread the firewater on the webs along the way, with Mads light guarding around for the spider.

Then set it alight at * side of webs in safety.

If it helps Rufus will add his oil to the fired firewater. But will light the firewater first with Rufus torch and see how it goes first.

Back In Character:
"Does anyone have any better ideas", asks Rufus. "If not lets do this to get into the chamber".

So, now Rufus wants everybody to turn around and pass back under the spider's nook again, as he leaves a trail of firewater on the ground behind him.

Then, when everybody has passed back some safe distance, Rufus intends to put a torch to the firewater and watch it burn.
