But I agree we're low on resources and may well have to withdraw. Let's just stop the others being eaten first if we can...

I agree. We're split up and without the right tools. We need to cut our friends free and get out.

If he does so, I will have to calculate the volume filled meticulously. But I seriously doubt Josiane and Co. are at risk as they are on the opposite side of the First Vault which is quite big enough to absorb a fireball in its entirety.

If we can't smack-down 6 zombies (despite having the high ground and a cleric), then we should forget about the vampire king and go home.
Resources like oil and Holy water are meant to be expended, aren't they?
Who said anything about zombies? These here are super-zombies ;D

Josiane is a Templar, not a cleric. Pelenwin too.
A Hinterlands cleric is more like a magic-user; no weaponry, no armour, all books and scrolls and pontification. There are Sisters of Mercy (all female) and Men of Faith (all male), but they are only NPCs at this stage.

I could be wrong, but the whole 'cold' thing is looking to be significant. I'm also noticing that our (i.e vault 1's team) zombies that get knocked down ain't getting up (yet).
It might be worth Pelenwin hitting them with the Sacrosanct Soliloquy and seeing what happens...
