Dieter, Desmond/Mondes, Torben, and Josiane enter the room while Wen finds a candle-mount in the passageway outside. The others holding the passage outside are variously jostled by an unseen force as Highbough squeezes between them to make his way into the room.

Those inside are aware this must be the infirmary. There are medical supplies that could be rummaged through, certainly, but it would take some considerable herb and medicine lore -- not to mention time -- to make any sense of it all.

Torben and Josiane approach the body, and immediately see that it was formerly a nun; but she has been dissected bloodily... for what ends none can say. It could only have been an appalling experience.

Ulric notes there is another door at the right-hand end (from the doorway, looking in) of the infirmary, which appears to be the only other entry.

When Wen's task is done he would smile at Gustave and Dorgan "A little light, just enough to see whats coming, don't want to ruin oppressive gloom". With a giggle he would make his way into the infirmary. Hold the torch a loft and look around. "Herbs? Perhaps we could use those?"

Olaf moves along with the group, "At least, cover the body if we can't give her a decent burial now."

He will look about for something that can be put over the corpse...blanket, sheet, tarp.

Desmond and Mondes both glance over at Torben to make sure he wasn't looking at them with his retort.

Josiane bows her head once more in prayer for another of her fallen brethren. Once she raises it she makes haste to aid Olaf in searching for something to give some dignity to the dead, though she will first take a moment to try and ascertain how long the body has lain here. Does this look to be a fresh kill? If so, there may be prisoners to liberate.

Josiane faces up to the grim task of examining the body further... by the horrid grey pallor of the flesh, the tinges of mange, the rigidity in the limbs, and the ghastly reek she supposes this cadaver have laid here at least a week, and possibly two. More over, she notes with some distaste, that much of the nun's innards are missing; the heart, lungs, stomach and other vitals cannot be unaccounted for.

Olaf spies a gather of white cloth hanging over one corner of the bookshelf. It is a gauze of some kind -- likely an insect net -- but he pulls it down and cast over the body; doubled over it is nearly opaque in this light.

Rufus will then continue to keep a eye and ear out for any signs of something approaching their rear so not be be surprised.
